Coolermaster HHC-001
|
The HHC-001 is the
second CPU-Cooler from Coolermaster with a HeatPipe because the first
version was not good enough. At the moment Coolermaster is the only
manufacturer who produces such a System for Desktop Computers. In many
laptops HeatPipes are already used for cooling. The principle of the
HeatPipe is almost simple: A specific cooling fluid (e.g. in a
refrigerator) ist filled in the pipes (pictures follow). At a very low
temperature the fluid gets gaseous and climbs up the pipes. At the
highest point of the pipes the fluid will be cooled and gets down back
to the processor respectively the bottom of the cooler.

It is recommend to connect the cooler directly to the 4-pin connector
of the power supply because the cooler has a power consumption of 4,20
W. A suitable adapter is not included.

Here you see the
Blister-Cover,
the cooler ist completely mounted and some Silmore heat
conductive paste is included.

As you can see
the cooler is pure copper.

Because of the
great power of the cooler a lattice ist mounted to prevent
injuries.
Because of the loudness of the cooler an adapter to 7V or an
innovatek fan controller is recommend. With the innovatek fan
controller the speed of the cooler is infinitely variable.
Never connect directly to the mainboard!!

The ground
plate could be polished better because the plate has some
scratches. If you have technical skills you can improve
the quality of the bottom plate.
